Wilderness FellowshipThe Wilderness Fellowship is a membership for leading donors wishing to support the Wilderness Education Association with an annual gift of $1000 or more. The Wilderness Fellowship supports key operations and allows the association flexibility in furthering the mission of advancing professionalism of outdoor leaders. This program recognizes our most generous donors. Wilderness Fellowship members will receive custom swag, acknowledgement in official WEA communications, and priority recognition at the International Conference on Outdoor Leadership. Wilderness Fellowship Opportunities:Shining Rock Wilderness ($1000/year)One of the original components of the Wilderness Act of 1964 and the largest Wilderness Area in North Carolina, Shining Rock Wilderness Area is just a few miles from the WEA National Office. This diverse area has elevations over 6,000 feet and gets its name from the white quartz outcroppings. Benefits include:
