Most functions of the Association are completed by volunteers on the Board of Directors and various committees and workgroups. Their work, however is always buoyed by the diligent efforts of our Association staff.

National Operations Director - Angel Wade 

Angel Wade has been actively involved with the Wilderness Education Association  since graduate school and is an alumni of Oklahoma State University. With extensive volunteer experience, including roles as External Chair, Board of Director, and WEA subcommittee member for outreach and promotions, Angel has a strong foundation in leadership and team facilitation.

As a business owner and leadership expert, Angel brings over seven years of experience in team building and experiential education. Her professional skills encompass risk management, collaborative leadership, and effective communication.
