Certification is through
the Wilderness Medicine Training Center (WMTC)

The Wilderness First Responder course has been designed specifically to meet the needs of wilderness guides, expedition leaders, and outdoor instructors. It is the outdoor education and recreation industry's standard for wilderness medical training. It is the wilderness medicine training course for outdoor professionals...and the course you want your friends to have taken before you travel with them. The course includes WMTC adult CPR & AED certification.

This course is a WMTC Distance Learning Project (DLP) course. You will receive WMTC's water-proof handbook, a data DVD, our full-color text book, and access to an on-line test. You must pass the on-line test prior to attending the the practical session. Click here for details
